We designed and built a Proof of Concept low power wearable device for tracking and reporting location via SMS / web application.
The challenge
Our client had a brilliant idea and an excited potential investor but just one thing was missing – a working Proof of Concept device to demonstrate the feasibility of the product, consolidate the business case and wow the financiers.
GPS location tracking, cell phone reporting via SMS, movement and temperature sensors, data storage, rechargeable battery, GSM updates with a web application to view live and historical data… all great features, but ones that can be daunting to implement if you don’t have the technical know-how and experience.

Our familiarity with all these technologies and our skills at writing bespoke firmware, designing intricate circuit layouts and careful PCB hand-assembly allowed us to produce an impressive fully-featured miniaturised board in just a few weeks.
